Why this competition
WE HAVE THE BEST JUDGES. Our judges include the most influential people in the spirits industry, including Masters Distillers, Certified Spirits Educators, Brand Ambassadors, retailers, importers and spirits industry writers and consultants.
ALL SPIRITS are blind judged; each glass is identified only by a number. Judges are given the classification prior to each flight. They do not know the producer of the spirit.
EACH SPIRIT is judged on its own merit — it’s presence, balance and character — not by how it compares to other spirits in the flight.
The Great American International Spirits Competition will provide you with a world-class assessment and added exposure for your products. We provide results directly after the competition—so you can use the information to promote your medal winning spirits. All winning entries will receive an elegant medal for display in your distillery, as well as recognition on our competition website and social media around the world. Finished press releases to send to your local media, social media assets and customizable promotional artwork for shelf tags and bottle tags will also be available to all winners.

A truly charitable competition
RAISE A GLASS FOUNDATION supports dozens of international, national and local charities such as InterVol, a Rochester based non-profit. InterVol’s mission is simple: to recover unused viable medical supplies from hospitals and distribute them to those who need them the most. To date, InterVol has aided people in more than 70 countries around the world!
